Several: The basic treatment for eczema is hydration, hydration, hydration with the use of emolients. Next if needed is an appropriate steroid cream, used appropriately and for the appropriate amount of time. There are some immune modulating drugs like tacrolimus. This is a difficult dermatologic disorder and if you have done the simple things (adult or child) then see a good dermatologist.

Eczema ointment: Eczema is often treated by proper skin treatment such as lukewarm water not hot water to cleanse the skin, mild soap such as cetaphil, cera ve, dove, then moisturizer which is applied to the slightly moist skin after bathing. More problematic skin is treated with thicker ointment base moisturizers such as aquaphor and worse eczema needs corticsteroid cream or ointment, antihistamines by mouth.
