Irritated Situation: If you have a cardiac condition, consult your physician for help. Cardiac symptoms differ for different people. Be safe rather than sorry. Alternatively, peripheral nerve entrapment from the scapula can cause this and even impingement closer to the spine along a specific dermatome (sensory path on the skin). Lastly, shingles (chicken pox) can cause symptoms anywhere along a nerve on the back.

Likely pinched nerve: Most common cause is osteo-arthritic ( degenerative) disease in the spine of neck which causes pinching of nerves that travel from neck to fingers.
