See your doctor: It is hard to know whether or not it was really your mucous plug. Typically, you lose your mucous plug at the end of pregnancy, but it is not necessarily a sign of labor. It is a thick, sticky clear discharge. Remember, during pregnancy you may have more discharge than normal or you may have a yeast or bacterial infection. If you aren't cramping or bleeding, i wouldn't panic, but go see your ob!
