Probably chest wall.: Pain is either related to esophagus, lining of lung or most likely to chest wall. Should be easy to sort out with a good exam and history. Should probably consider a trial of medications to relieve your pain.

GERD : Gastritis could be the cause. Change the doctor if he does not address your concerns.
