Exam needed: The list of possibilities is too large to even enter with the limited space on this type of forum. Besides, merely giving a list of possibilities will not help you know what they are, why they are there, and what you can do about them. Please have your father see a dentist for a thorough exam. It would be especially helpful if he goes when those sores are present.
