Is the lens on a straight eye, thicker than the one on the lazy eye?

Depends: We often put a balance lens in front of the lazy eye. This is a lens with the same power as the other eye. It makes the glasses look normal. If someone has useful vision in his/her lazy eye, we put the correct lens in front of this eye. It may be thicker, thinner or the same as the other eye.
