Can you explain if it's possible to get thinner lenses with lazy eye?

Possibly: See your eye doctor to discuss this option. The thickness of your glasses typically depends on the strength of the prescription and type of glass material used and does not have to do with a lazy eye. Sometimes, if you have prism in your glasses it can make them thicker. There are thinner, lighter high index lenses that may help you.
