A member asked:

Recently my ecg was done and doc wrote t inverted on the report. what does t inversion mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends...: The significance of t wave inversions is almost impossible to assess without taking into account the history and examination findings in a given patient; i.e., ECG findings can be difficult to interpret when viewed in isolation. T wave inversions can be due to a long list of possible diagnoses, some benign/non-specific, others concerning, and usually require further assessment.
