Thought i had an uti or kidney infection but the doc said there's no infection present or std. i'm still having pain when i pee. what could it be?

Painful urination: There are other causes of painful urination besides urinary infection or std. For example, vaginitis can cause pain when you pee, or other causes of irritation in the genital area. Some medical conditions include reiters syndrome and non infectious urethritis. Your gynecologist should be able to help.
