Painful urination: There are other causes of painful urination besides urinary infection or std. For example, vaginitis can cause pain when you pee, or other causes of irritation in the genital area. Some medical conditions include reiters syndrome and non infectious urethritis. Your gynecologist should be able to help.

UTI sym. Friend went to doc & they tested her for bacterial infections and STDS. Is that standard procedure to test for everything? friend is nervous.
