Very doubtful: Als is a disease of older people, and EMG fasciculations are often of little significance or due to a variety of benign problems. Your symptoms need attention, but, based on your description, a motor neuron disease category would not explain it.

I have had a ALS scare for the last 3 months. Als spec said I have bfs and my emg/nvc and clinical exam was good. I noticed today my rleg calf is a 1/4in bigger than the lleg calf is this normal.
Been having muscle twitches for months now and calf cramps in both legs but mainly the left side , dr google has now got me looking at als should I be worried no weakness atal just spasms and cramps read about bfs but still worried about the cramps?
Twitching bodywide 16 months. EMG clean (only fascias) at 12 months. Clean clinical at 15 months. Told BFS by neuro at 15 months. Can it still be ALS?
