Depends on depth: If the cut is superficial (not too deep), and is healing ok you are probably fine. If the cut was deper, there could be tendon or nerve involvement. Should be checked.

Have it evaluated.: A puncture wound is caused by an object piercing the skin and creating a small hole such as from stepping on a nail. Such injuries can potentially be dangerous as one may develop tetanus, or a number of other types of deep infections. If the puncture wound was deep enough to draw blood, seek medical attention.
