Depends: If you have a symptoms with findings on a xray the explains it, treatment would depend on what's causing the stricture...If it is recurrent crohns disease treatment might consist of medical therapy with medication change. Occasionally with an ileostomy a stricture can be treated with balloon dilation and occasionally the best treatment is surgery. If your xray is normal other studies can be done.
