Conservative: Splint rest ice stretch and slowly strengthen. If not improved need mri.

Tendonitis?: First do you have tendonitis? The differential for hand issues can be mild early arthritis, nerve compression such as carpal tunnel and other issues. Numbness with tendonitis can mean other issues or it could be from a splint that is too tight especially for dequervains where hard splints push on the radial sensory nerve affecting the back of the wrist. Ice, stretching, NSAID proper splints works.
