How chronic?: For some, chronic occurrs within a few weeks of having a problem. In reality, a chronic condition must be constantly present for at least 6 months. I assume that you have already tried ice, anti-inflammatory medications, splints/braces, and oral/injectable steroids for your chronic condition. If all of the above has failed to relieve your symptoms, you need to see a board certified orthopaedic dr.
