Stretch!: Make sure you do your warm up and cool down stretches each time you run. This will help your calf muscles and arches from getting strained. Also make sure your shoes are in good repair and not excessively worn, and make sure you are getting adequate arch support. If these measures do not help, talk to your doctor.
