i'm taking 5mg prednisone on and off, i did not know that it has side effects if i stop, i'm not taking it for 5 days now, should i take it again?

Many issues: There are a lot of issues we need to know to answer that question. Why you taking it? Sometimes Prednisone is given intermittently. Sometimes people need to slowly tsper it especially if they been on it a long time. The fact that you have been off it without a problem may mesn you don't need to take it anymore.
