Strategic relaxation: Often panic can be relieved if you relax into the feeling and just be assured that it will pass. It's uncomfortable but not dangerous. Sometimes it helps to also tap on the bony orbits under your eyes and breath slowly and steadily. It's also a good idea to pursue treatment with a therapist who specializes in treating panic.
