Hard to say : Without looking at it. May just be a benign rash if there are no other signs and symptoms.Just observe for now.Take a photo for documentation.

Possible cause: One possible cause is an insect bite. Apply a topic antibiotic and please follow up with your pediatrician. If the ear begins to look more red, swollen and tender, a course of antibiotics to treat a skin infection may be indicated.
