Cauda equina : Your doctor told you about this likely so you would be aware of the symptoms, not so that you can live a life of fear. If the symptoms come...Unlikely...They will be addressed with urgent surgery. More likely scenario is radiculopathy or leg pain even with a little foot weakness is an urgent matter but not an emergent matter. Have your surgeon reassure you.
