I have been told that i will get arthritis in my knee in 10 to 20 years due to a recent fracture. what can i do?

Be active: Osteoarthritis (oa) is an age related process that everyone will go through. You may develop premature oa if your fracture caused the surface of the knee joint to become slightly irregular. Either way, it is important to be physically active in things you like to do and keep the weight off. Excess weight put extra strain on your knees which may lead to early oa.
