In office: In many dental offices there are 1 hr type treatments that use high concentration hydrogen peroxide. Some have lights, some don't. The light is largely a gimmick but can slightly increase the speed of whitening. Take home trays that are worn daily work as well as products like crest whitestrips. The difference is in the concentration of the whitening gels.

In office bleaching.: The fastest way to get results from bleaching is to have bleaching performed in a dental office. This procedure can take 1 1/2 to 2 hours and does not usually get as good a result as the take home bleaching system. The take home system using custom trays can take 5-6 weeks but for most people yields a better result.

In office: In office treatment such as zoom. Not better just faster. You pay for the speed. Beware that you may have mild to severe sensitivity, immediately and/or short term. You end up with at home whitening trays and gel anyway, even with this.
