A member asked:

I read that tooth root resorption can be caused by tooth whitening. does this include otc treatments with carbamide or hydrogen peroxide?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: I'm not sure your hypothesis is correct. Have not see this information in well refereed dental journals. I can tell you that OtC whitening systems are not particularly effective. See your Dentist first for a professional cleaning, then follow his/her advice as to the most effective and long lasting treatment.
