Not usually: I guess it depends on the severity and position of the sore. If it fairly small and far enough away from your teeth it shouldn't. If your teeth hurt there may be another reason. If you have not seen a dentist in a while you may want to get checked. You can try orajel or anbesol for the sore, or even risne with warm salty water. Canker sores go away on the own in 1 to 2 weeks.
