Depends on the cause: You must first determine the cause of your "spasms and whether they initiate in the muscles or in the nerves. Are they out of the blue or after exercise, fatigue, exposure to cold, etc? I would ask your primary care provider and then see if you need testing, and/or a referral to a specialist for diagnosis and treatment.
