How do i treat or prevent muscle spasms without valium i get tgem in my left leg n right forearm/wrist?

Other meds: There are several medications to control muscle spasms of which valium is one. The main side effect of anti-spasm medications is sleepiness but not all people feel that way. Stretching the muscles regularly also helps with spasms.
