Hearing loss: Hearing loss in young people (your note indicates you're 18) may also result from overexposure to loud noises -- like ipod music turned up too loud for too long, loud concerts, etc. Some research does link high stress with hearing loss & tinnitus. You'll need a personal examination & discussion time with audiologist & ENT doctor to review your own condition & possible recovery.

May be reversible: See an ear, nose, and throat specialist and go through audiological testing, as many hearing loss problems can be helped.
