Yes: You should bring anyone with you who helps you feel relaxed and offers you support. Having a baby is exciting. Family members like to feel like they are a part of it. Family members can help you remember the questions you wanted to ask and help you remember the doctors answers too.

Sure: Good to have two sets of ears to confirm recs. Also good to have someone with experience and help ask the right questions. Not to mention good moral support !
