Yes: all opoids are passed through the breast milk to the baby. In a baby it can cause sedation,cardiac problems and withdrawal symptoms.in a child the half life is 19hrs where it stays in the blood stream of the baby unless very actively monitored.you should give formula to the baby while you are taking the drug
