New filling?: A tooth that has had a filling placed recently can be sensitive to thermal changes...Especially if the filling was amalgam (silver). A tooth that has had a root canal..If done properly..Will never again feel pain from temperature change. If there is sensitivity to hot or cold, it is likely from another tooth.

Get checked: Your bite may be off, or it's yet another tooth.
