See my previous answer. Your tooth may be cracked, the filling may be cracked, you may have recurrent decay, you may have gingival recession. The tooth needs to be physically examined to diagnose the issue.

Filling may be high. N nerve of tooth may be partially necrotic. Tooth or filling m ay be fractured/leaking, it may be that filling is high, you may have malocclusion with untoward forces on the tooth, or you may have a parafunctional habit. It's been 2 years. Have you been back to Dentist, and what did Dentist say? If cause not readily obvious, you may want to see an Endodontist.
