Vitamins: Your daughter may have a deficiency in vitamin c or she may have a herpetic lesion caused by the herpes symplex virus, she may need a prescription to alleviate the pain and get faster healing.

Ask her.: How old is she? And does she have decent oral hygiene habits? When was the last time she saw a dentist for a checkup and cleaning? Does she even have a dentist?

Different reasons: Personal oral hygiene and nutritional status are important. However, other things like viral infection, or certain autoimmune disorders can cause canker sores/ multiple oral ulceration. Bring her to see her doctor and dentist for further evaluation.

Sensititvy : You didn't say how old your daughte is. Here are a couple of things for you to try. Sometimes canker sore are caused by sensitivity to sodium lauryl sulfate, sls, in toothpaste. Have her. Use an sls free toothpaste. Make sure she has good nutrition, or is taking appropriate vitamins. Have her reduce or avoid acidic things, oj, tomato sauce, etc.

See a specialist: No vitamins will help. Not due to acidic foods. There are several types of mouth sores. See a dermatologist or oral surgeon or throat specialist.

I don't know...: Sometimes it is related to a local irritation, sometimes from certain foods, sometimes from trauma.
