Rinse and brush: Rinse out with water. Brush lightly with plenty of toothpaste. If you have any Fluoride rinse, use it. You just aggravated the root surface with the acid in the lemon. It will pass. Report this to your dentist. There are some treatments for sensitive teeth / roots. Good luck.

Try Baking soda: Lemon is a strong acid, 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 4 oz. Glass of warm water, as a rinse, will neutralize the acid. Then, see your dentist about a more complete treatment.
