A member asked:

What does it mean that mri shows right sided sublenticular cyst? does this type of cyst cause any issues?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually: A sublenticular cyst describes a usually very small oval collection of fluid in a specific location deep in the brain. These are almost always incidental findings that are mentioned because they represent a departure from "normal." often these are simply mild enlargements of normal fluid-filled canals around tiny blood vessels. Regardless, they are unlikely to cause symptoms.
