Possible shingles: You may have shingles, the second coming of chicken pox. Get yourself to your dermatologist asap for a proper diagnosis. If you do have it, it hurts, is contagious to people who have never had chicken pox, and can leave you in pain long after the skin lesions are gone.

I would go in: For that one. Blisters and pain, the herpes virus needs to be ruled out. Using a medicine like valacyclovir may reduce the duration of the pain and the course if that is the problem. Additionally you could get the pain treated. I'm not saying that's it but it is very common.

You may have Herpes: Check with a dermatologist. It could be herpes simplex or zoster.
