At this point, no.: Initial research by the manufacturer don't show a clinical benefit of 100 mg over 50 mg, but we will see as more research and experience with it emerge.

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine): Although 50mg. was the recommended dose, if patient shows limited response I would increase to 100mg.
