I eat some hot food this morning and i notice that the tip of my tongue is red and iiritate can the hot food cause it and what can i use for it?

Irritated tongue: Eating exssively hot or spicy food could irritate soft tissues in the mouth .Apparently you irritated your tongue and it will go away nothing really to do for it. Just avoid hot and spicy food and citric for now.Having something cold like ice cream will help.
