Cloudy urine with sediment off an on for quite awhile. docs give urine tests but each time the sample is clear. tests all normal. when cloudy sample at home settles it is a thick white layer on bottom?

Can be normal: Mucus and other benign sediment can account for this.

Salts: Materials which are in full solution in the urine in your body may precipitate out when the temperature or the composition of the surrounding environment changes (acidity, concentration, other materials present). This is very common with urine. If you have no symptoms other than this suspect it is quite normal. Precipitated salts.
