You could...: Charcot-marie-tooth disease (cmtd) is a group of disorders passed down through families that affect the nerves outside the brain and spine. These are called the peripheral nerves. While it can cause foot disorders and calf muscle atrophy, any peripheral nerve, including from the neck can be affected. A neurologist would be a good specialist to talk to about this.
