I get muscle spasms and charley horses often in my feet, hands, and sometimes neck almost every time i exercise. what do you think this is due to?

Spasms: This could be related to an electrolyte abnormality and/or dehydration. I would recommend plenty of fluids in the form of a sports drink. The symptoms continue please see your primary care physician for further evaluation.

Dehydration: Try hydrating with electrolytes (like sports drinks, not just water) to see if that helps. Dehydration can cause spasms in multiple areas. That being said, if it does not help, then see your physician to see if you have any other issues, including anemia (common in your age group), electrolyte issues or metabolic issues. Make sure to stretch after working out as well. Hope that helps!
