Choice of friends: Anybody here can tall you about resistance training, numbers of reps and sets, and diet to be lean and defined. Creatine and an electronic muscle stimulator unit if okay with your physician are things to add. Avoid steroids & supplement scams. But the key is go begin visiting a gym, ask advice of the other people, have them see you are trying hard & they'll guide you & give you a new focus.

No pain no gain.: If you don't have any medical condition that restricts you from exercise. Start an exercise program combination of cardio and weightlifting. Enroll a family member or friend as a training partner .If you can afford hire a personal trainer. Always start with moderate intensity program like walking , swimming and lifting lighter weights. Use the machines instead of free weights to avoid injury.
