Diet: Exercise certainly helps but a healthy, sustainable diet is the only reliable way to fat loss. The best place to start is by cutting out all sodas and juices (i only drink water), and limiting foods with added sugar. I'm a fit swimmer but i lost two inches from my waist by this simple change. Your weight loss goal should be 1lb/wk. You may not have to restrict food, but cutting 500cal/day = 1lb/wk.
