Wart Treatment: Most flat warts can be treated by triggering the body's natural defenses. Over the counter medicines with salicylic acid will irritate the area and can help speed up the process. There's even been a study that showed a small patch of duct tape applied to the area for several days may work as well. As always, see your doctor if you develop bleeding or pain or if more warts develop.
