It depends: Symptoms depend on where the tumor is in the brain. Some tumors cause no symptoms, while others can cause weakness in an arm or leg, balance problem, or numbness on one side of the body. Brain tumors can come from spread of a tumor that started somewhere else in the body, or they can start in the brain. They develop when cells start growing and don't stop. This is how all cancers develop.
