Start with a Trainer: You should have a couple of sessions with a certified athletic trainer. The trainer can teach you the proper way to exercise and help you develop an effective program that should include core, chest, back, arm and leg exercises. Using free weights or machines improperly can lead to injury. Proper use of equipment with allow you to have a safe and effective muscle building program.
