Possibly: If you were a terrific rubber band wearer, and you did not see your orthodontist for a while it could over-correct. Fear not, your orthodontist can fix it easily.

Possibly: If rubber bands are used between the upper and lower jaws, it is possible to "overdo it" and get and underbite. In that case, your orthodontist will probably recommend that you discontinue using these elastics for now. Good luck!

It depends: If you are being monitored by your orthodontist, you should not be creating a true underbite from your rubber bands. Sometimes the pressure of the elastics results in a muscular response that makes it look like your lower teeth are coming too far forward. Just be sure that your orthodontist sees you to determine whether cessation of the elastics is warranted.

Yes: Occasionally, some over-correction can occur and might be desired. Call you orthodontist for advice right away.

Yes: Rubber bands are used to move teeth. It is possible to move them a bit more than is needed to correct an overbite resulting in an underbite. The good news is that it usually corrects itself by just discontinuing the rubber bands. Occasionally you will need to reverse the rubber band direction.

Yes: Need to see your orthodontist. He may want this to happen as a step in your treatment, or perhaps your response to elastics has been faster than average, or perhaps you've missed appropriate appointment interval. In any case, call your orthodontist. This is not a big deal if addressed right away.

Yes but unlikely: in theory, rubber bands can move the jaw and create an underbite-- but that is HIGHLY unlikely. Rather than ask this group, I STRONGLY suggest you discuss with your orthodontist-- IMMEDIATELY
