My three month old baby has cavernous hemangiomaon her neck.. what are the chances of she having in other places like liver and symptoms to watch for?

Careful monitoring: It is possible. She should be monitored by your pediatrician.You may want to get an ultrasound of the liver if the liver seems to be getting larger by palpitation. Another organ to monitor is the baby's blood count and heart. Red blood cells can get trapped in the liver, cause anemia and in turn, heart failure.

Mostly near skin : The cavernous hemangioma is a benign tumor composed of blood vessel elements that is often not found until a kid is several months old.They can show up in more than 1 location but are usually in the soft tissues beneath the skin. Some can involve muscle & they often distort normal tissue. An unrelated process called an arteriovenous malformation can be found internally, but finding both is rare.
