Yes: Ct is very good at detecting fluid collections both within the abdominal cavity and in the abdominal wall. Seromas often occur after surgery, and ct can not only identify them but can often distinguish between a seroma and other types of fluid collections such as abscess (pus) or hematoma (blood clot).
