Maybe OK maybe not: All babies spit up - its why we all buy burp cloths and bibs. Most babies who spit are normal. However, sometimes, excessive spit up can signal a significant problem. If the spitting up hurts frequently or your baby has trouble gaining weight, then gerd, or reflux, is a concern. 5 times after one feeding is too much and a GI blockage needs to be explored as well. Talk to your doctor asap.

Reflux: Several things come to mind- ge reflux, formula intolerance or dairy intolerance if breastfeeding. Many questions would need to be asked before definitive answer- how old, did it just start, how frequently is she burped, etc.
