Burping your baby mid feed and after the feeding, smaller but more frequent feedings often relieves reflux symptoms. If the weight gain is normal, there is usually no need for medication. There are conditions which cause forceful vomiting, red or green color in the vomitus, and if these findings occur, please see your physician right away. Most likely the wet burps will improve with time.
