Muscle irritation: As a gastrointestinal surgeon, i can tell you that I have never seen a patient with cancer present with this symptom. In all likelihood, this is just an abdominal wall muscle that is irritable, just like an eyelid that sometimes twitches during the day. If it gets worse or is accompanied by new symptoms, a physical exam with your doctor is a good idea.
